This is the story of Davi and Adam:
December 21, 2008
Downtown Tampa
Tampa, FL
It is an enchanting Saturday evening. The weather is unseasonably mild for late December, which makes it perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The courtyard outside the Hyatt Regency Downtown is aglow with hundreds of candles with a crisp white chuppah in the center of the light. A classical guitarist creates an ambiance fit for a beautiful wedding.

True to Jewish tradition, the bride and groom have already seen each other at the signing of the Kotuba, a ritual Jewish contract of marriage. However, that does not deter the look of love and admiration in the eyes of Adam as his stunning bride descends the stairs and makes her way to him. They join together under the chuppah and the ceremony begins. After breaking the glass and a rousing shout of “Mazel Tov!” The bride and groom proceed down the aisle with their bridal party.

The reception is at perhaps one of the most beautiful venues in the Tampa Bay area. The Tampa Club is glowing with candles and the lights of the city. After the bridal party and the bride and groom are announced, the first dance begins. Adam surprises Davi by switching up the song on her last minute, to which she is horrified. All attendees found it funny and it made for the most memorable first dance we have seen.

As dinner is served, toasts are given, champagne is drunk, and all are in good spirits. The party begins with the dancing of the Hora. This is perhaps the most unexpected and funny surprise of the entire evening. Davi is hoisted up on the chair first, and is laughing with glee as she grips the chair for dear life. As they go to lift Adam in the chair, he is accidentally dumped out of the chair. But as any good humored, gracious groom would be, he laughed it off, climbed back on the chair and continued the dance. The night ended with an elated groom and his equally elated bride. The couple left the next day to cruise the Caribbean for a week for their honeymoon.

This wedding was especially special for Lauren. Davi, being a close friend and sorority sister, and Lauren serving as her wedding planner and maid of honor made for an interesting and exciting day. For Davi and Adam, our wish is that may the worst days of their future be no worse than the best days of their past.
